The Idea is simple, the impact immeasurable!

Our fundraising is driven by small house gatherings with friends in an atmosphere of celebrating and strengthening the community.  While enjoying each other’s company, we raise money for a greater purpose. It can be this simple:

A change for change party

A 5 year old girl hosted the very first Kittery Womenade Fundraiser in June of 2008.  She sent an invitation to all her friends asking them to meet at the park to decorate cupcakes and to bring a baggie of change.  In two hours, she raised over $300! That money was used to prevent a family from losing their home.

Children can make a difference!

June 2008, a third grader accepted donations for Kittery Womenade instead of gifts and raised over $200!

Kittery Womenade has also been fortunate to benefit from other festive house parties such as Trick or Treat for a Cause, Wine Tasting, Chili Cook-Off, Tea Party, Wreath-Making Party,  Jewelry Party, Holiday Gatherings, and donations made in honor of a person’s birthday. Other ideas to spark the imagination are: Bookgroups, Playgroups, Sports Celebrations, Movie Nights, Pot Luck.

Host a house party

Offer a different twist on “ladies night out!” Host a small gathering in your home and you’ll enjoy the company of friends AND support a wonderful cause, while changing the lives of people in your community. One small check makes a significant difference. Ask How

Are you an online shopper? Go to www.charityblast.com and type in Kittery Womenade as the organization you want to benefit from your online purchases. There is a huge list of retailers – Gap, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple – to name just a few – and a percentage of your purchase will be sent to us!

Womenade is made possible by the generosity of individuals and local businesses. All donations are tax-deductable. Any level of assistance is greatly appreciated.
